One
of the interesting things I learned from filming clouds was how
much movement and change is required to make a timelapse look
interesting. You need to have really high winds and lots of medium-sized
clouds to get a good timelapse of cloud shadows. Otherwise you
just end up with long boring stretches of light or dark with nothing
much happening.
I
shot this clip sitting just below the rocks above Cecret saddle.
I love how the shadows play across the snow. It would be awesome
to install a camera somewhere around here and film through spring
until the snow field turned into a beautiful alpine lake.
